Emery Village BIA Executive Director’s message
Thank you to all those who attended our annual Remembrance Day Ceremony at Joseph Bannon Park. It’s great to see that every year our community honours and expresses gratitude to all the courageous men and women who served our nation and battled for our freedom.
I also want to express my gratitude to the numerous o?cers from 31 Division Police who honoured our fallen soldiers. All o?cers stood in salute, followed by a minute of silence.
We would especially like to thank Upper Crust for the delicious pastries that were loved by many, the Emery Village Business Improvement Area Businesses for the drinks, and our community volunteers for their invaluable assistance on that day. We are extremely appreciative of the amazing, committed, and diligent volunteers like you that enable us to host our events each year.
The Emery Village BIA will continue its tradition of gathering donations for seniors and families in our community who are in need as the holiday season draws near.
To arrange a pick-up date and time, businesses who would like to participate and donate any food or toys should send us an email at: info@emeryvillagebia.ca
The business donation pick-up will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on December 16th to 19th.
Residents interested in donating any perishable foods or toys can do so by placing their donation in a plastic bag and dropping it o? in one of the boxes provided in our lobby located at 1885 Wilson Ave. at your convenience from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We cannot accept any used or untagged toys or clothing for health reasons.
We wish you all a warm, healthy, and peaceful holiday season.
