Selestien bros shine on world stage

Last month, brought the exciting news of Bryden (U16) and Delwin (U14) Selestien, two talented young athletes from Emery Village, heading to Heraklion, Greece, to represent Canada at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Today, we are thrilled to update you on their incredible results and the pride they have brought to the community.

Bryden fought with determination and skill, earning an impressive fourth place in his division. Delwin made the podium, bringing home a bronze medal and finishing third overall in his category. Competing among athletes from more than 60 countries, the brothers have demonstrated not just their talent but also their resilience and sportsmanship on the world stage.

Their achievements are a testament to more than a decade of hard work and passion for Jiu-Jitsu. The Selestien brothers have shown that dreams, paired with effort and community support, can lead to incredible accomplishments.
