Emery Village BIA Executive Director's Message - Feb 2021

The Province of Ontario has been in lockdown for the majority of February, and it is essential to keep following stay-at-home orders during this time.

On our social media and website, we have posted a number of webinar and learning opportunities to help businesses adjust and grow during this time. These are offered by Digital Main Street and the City of Toronto – please stay on the lookout for upcoming opportunities.

While adapting to the new normal, it is also a good time to learn essential COVID-19 workplace safety, and our free course is still available online:

www.emerybia.skillspass.com.

The SkillsPass COVID-19 Work Safe Course covers all of the essentials elements involved in protecting your business throughout the pandemic.

We encourage all students and residents to make use of this free course as well, which provides a workplace safety certificate upon completion.

Please try to stay safe during this difficult time. There are several food and grocery options within the Emery Village community which offer delivery services.

Once again, we are featuring a few restaurants each month in the Emery Village Voice and on social media, so please try to support local if you can. If you would like to be featured, please reach out to us on social media.

The weather might start getting warmer as April approaches, but please remember to continue avoiding gatherings outside of your bubble, wear a mask and maintain social distance at all times.

Sincerely,

Executive Director

Sandra Farina
