What’s On Closer to Emery Northwest

Toronto October 2025

October in north-west Toronto brings the crisp air, fallen leaves, and a chance to join in neighbourhood-scale celebrations. Here are some ways to enjoy the season without going too far from home.

Weston Harvest Festival — The Weston BIA hosts a local festival around Thanksgiving. Expect harvest-style fun, food, seasonal displays, maybe some live music or kids’ games.

Weston Farmers’ Market — Running through to the end of October, this market is a wonderful spot to pick up fall produce, enjoy community atmosphere, and stroll among stalls of local vendors.

Ontario Culture Days — From Sept 19 to Oct 12, free performances, art displays, heritage walks and more pop up all over the city. A number will happen in North West neighbourhoods.

Park & Ravine Walks — Get outside: the Humber River valley, neighbourhood ravines, and green spaces in York offer spectacular fall colour. Great for families, photos, or simply slowing down with a warm drink.

Community Events in North York — Keep an eye out for events hosted by local community centres, libraries, cultural groups. Fall fairs, craft shows, and cultural festivals often happen in neighbourhood halls.
