A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made Emery Village BIA’s final summer event a smashing success. Our movie in the park night at Lanyard Park was an unforgettable evening filled with joy, laughter, and cinematic magic under the stars. As the sun set and the big screen lit up, it was clear that we wrapped up summer on a high note, with families and friends coming together to celebrate the season. A special thanks to all the Emery businesses that participated in our summer events.
With the back-to-school season right around the corner, we want to take a moment to remind all drivers to exercise extra caution on the roads. As school zones become bustling with activity, it’s crucial for everyone to be vigilant and drive with care. Parents, please take a moment to review street crossing safety with your children, especially around busy drop-off and pick-up areas, to help ensure a safe environment for all.
Additionally, if you’re looking for a way to give back, we’re collecting new backpacks and school supplies to support children and families in need. Donations can be dropped off at 1885 Wilson Avenue in the donation box located in the lobby, anytime between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays from August 19th to September 20th. Your generosity will help make this school year a little brighter for those who could use a helping hand.
