Emery Village BIA Executive Director's message - Jan 2021

The Province of Ontario has gone into lockdown in response to a declaration of a state of emergency on January 12, 2021.

A stay-at-home order is in effect, which means you should only go out for necessities such as food, medical appointments, childcare, or school if necessary. Businesses should ensure that all employees work from home if they can.

Please try to stay safe during this difficult time. There are several food and grocery options within the Emery Village community which offer delivery services. We will feature a few each month in the Emery Village Voice and on social media, so please try to support local if you can.

Our SkillsPass COVID-19 Work Safe Course is still available to complete at any time:

If you have not yet done so, we recommend it. The course is the first of its kind in Ontario and will provide participants with a certificate of completion as well as an official decal to display on your business. It covers all of the essentials elements involved in protecting your business throughout the pandemic. We encourage all students and residents to make use of this free course as well.

We hope that the beginning of 2021 has been safe and positive for you and your loved ones – if we all continue working together this year, we can continue to keep the whole community safe.

Sincerely,

Executive Director

Sandra Farina
