Councillor’s Corner - February 2023

Councillor’s Corner

Dear Resident,

Registration for City spring recreation programs open Wednesday, March 8, and Friday, March 10, for options that begin on April 1 and run until the end of June.

For spring recreation and any information regarding drop-in classes and spaces available for current programming, please visit:

Museum programming

The City of Toronto has announced that a full schedule of in-person programming will return to its 10 Toronto History Museums (THM) this year. In 2020, THM programming was scaled back and made virtual in line with the City’s pandemic response. When the sites re-opened in 2022, the City introduced free general admission and new guided and self-guided tours to reduce barriers and welcome people back physically into these historic spaces. This year marks the first time these museums will offer full in-person programming in three years. March Break is a great opportunity to take your family to a Toronto History Museum. For information on the locations and programs available at THM sites, please visit: toronto.ca/museums

For details about different March Break events happening nearby, contact me.
