Toronto is ready to light up the night again — Nuit Blanche returns on Saturday, October 4 at 7 p.m.
and runs until sunrise on Sunday, October 5 at 7 a.m.
This free, all-night contemporary art festival transforms the city into a giant outdoor gallery.
For one night only, familiar streets, parks, and buildings become stages for art, sound, light, and performance.
The theme for 2025 is “Translating the City.” Visitors can expect installations that explore how we understand
and share urban life — through language, memory, cultures, and the stories that connect us.
Across three main exhibition areas — Downtown, North York, and Etobicoke — artists from Toronto and around the world
will present immersive works. Think large-scale light pieces, interactive displays, live performances, and thought-provoking
installations that invite participation. Many of the city’s cultural institutions will also stay open late, offering
their own special programming.
For Emery residents, Nuit Blanche is just a quick trip away. The TTC will extend overnight service, making it easier
than ever to experience the city in a whole new way. Comfortable shoes and a little curiosity are all you need to
take in this once-a-year celebration of creativity.
Whether you wander all night or stop by for just a few highlights, Nuit Blanche offers a chance to see Toronto through fresh eyes.
