The Emery Village Business Improvement Area (BIA) and its members are excited to continue their beautification program, building on the successes of previous years. This initiative is dedicated to enhancing the visual appeal and overall environment of the community, making Emery Village a more vibrant, welcoming, and enjoyable place for residents, businesses, and visitors.
Last year’s efforts included the installation of Emery benches and planters, decorative lamp poles, hanging floral baskets, Emery banners, a solar-powered gateway LED sign, meter bases, summer hanging baskets, Emery-branded hanging basket pole fixtures, and stone medians adorned with summer flowers. These beautification items have made a noticeable impact on the community.
The positive results of these initiatives are evident. The addition of benches and planters has provided comfortable seating areas and added greenery, encouraging people to spend more time outdoors and fostering a sense of community. Decorative lamp poles and improved lighting have enhanced safety and visibility, making the area more inviting during evening hours.
Hanging floral baskets and summer hanging baskets have brought bursts of colour and life to the streets, creating a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. The Emery banners and branded hanging basket pole fixtures have strengthened the community’s identity and pride. The solar-powered gateway LED sign not only adds a modern touch but also promotes sustainability, reflecting their commitment to environmentally friendly practices.
The stone medians with summer flowers have beautified roadways and contributed to a more pleasant driving and walking experience. These enhancements have not only improved the aesthetics of Emery Village but have also positively impacted local businesses by attracting more visitors and creating a lively, attractive environment.
