Humber Summit Senior Social

1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Join us every Thursday afternoon for our Humber Summit Senior’s Social. Play board games, cards and Bingo and meet new people and have fun! Drop-In, no registration required.

Knitting & Crochet Circle

6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Come join us for an hour of knitting or crocheting and socializing. All skill levels of knitters are welcome! Please bring your own yarn, needles and hooks and enjoy! Please register at the front desk.

Fun with Snap Circuits!

Tuesday November 7

4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Play with electricity and circuitry during this hands-on program! Turn on a light, spin a motor, activate a speaker and choose from hundreds of different projects, or try making your own circuits! For ages 6-12. A parent or guardian must be in attendance. Register at front desk.

Toddler Time

10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Stories, rhymes, and activities for toddlers 19 months to three years, with their parents or caregivers. No registration required.

Featured Programs

Creative Crafters

Saturday November 18

2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Join Woodview Park library in a series of activities for Adults and Seniors focusing on DYI crafts in a safe and comfortable setting. All crafting supplies are provided. Our November 18th activity will be beading!

Parent & Child Drop-In Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to Noon.

Join Woodview Park for two hours of play through songs, books, finger play, rhymes and lots of free play time. This program is facilitated by Northwood Neighbourhood Services. A healthy snack is provided for the children. The program is for children (0-5 years of age) and they must be supervised. The program allows parents and caregivers the chance to meet others and play interactively in an early learning environment.

After-School Club Tuesdays, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Learn and create new things, make friends, and have fun, with STEM-centred crafts and activities! Drop in program for ages 6 to 12 years. Space is limited.

LEAP After-School Program Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Come to Woodview Park for two hours of physical activity, trivia and games while building independency skills. The program is facilitated by North York Community House LEAP staff and is intended for children aged nine to 13 years. Snacks will be provided. Registration is required with LEAP online on their website. Space is limited.

Coding for Girls

Fridays, 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Girls aged 7 to 12 years are welcome to come have some fun and learn coding after school. This 12-week program will begin on September 29. Spaces will be limited and registration is required.

Seniors Drop-In Wednesdays Noon to 2 p.m.

This program provides seniors with an opportunity to socialize with one another in a safe and secure environment. The program is facilitated by Northwood Neighbourhood Services. Some of the recreational activities seniors may participate in include playing games, arts and crafts, and attending health and wellness workshops.

Refreshments will be provided.
