The King Charles III Coronation Medal was created to commemorate the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Canada issued 30,000 coronation medals, awarding them to select members of the Canadian Armed Forces and public service and individuals who have made significant contributions to the country or have achieved accomplishments that bring credit to Canada and their communities.
On March 9th, MP Judy Sgro proudly presented the first-ever King Charles III Coronation Medals to a group of community leaders, business owners, and advocates. Among them, several recipients from Emery Village stood out for their unwavering commitment to improving the neighbourhood.
