Emery BIA is always ready to assist our members with increased foot traffic to their businesses. One of the ways we help is by boosting customers through our social media platforms and our newspaper. By creating exposure, we are encouraging the community to shop locally.
Other incentives the Emery BIA has for businesses are free seminars and promotions. These crucial seminars equip owners and management teams with the essential tools for changes in areas like Health and Safety and Worker’s Compensation.
Along with the City of Toronto and Digital Main Street, businesses have the opportunity to speak with experts in Law, Accounting and Insurance and make their businesses shine with the latest technologies and advertising all at very affordable prices and partnered with government grants geared toward small businesses.
The Emery BIA also strives for business members to take advantage of available funding and grants renewed annually such as, the Commercial-Industrial Façade and Property Improvement Program (open until May 2, 2019 or until funds have been expended).
The Emery BIA assists businesses in their success as the façade program has proven to be statistically more appealing and engaging for visiting patrons. Not only do we advertise the grants to get funded money into our business owners’ hands, we also assist owners in the application process for the best possible results.
The Emery BIA also promotes Request For Proposals (RFP’s) and procurement processes like building the Finch West LRT. Mosaic Group is looking for local contractors, equipment services and material providers specifically in the Emery BIA to help with its construction. Knowing that the Emery BIA has the resources within their business membership, we strive to get the information out to you in record time so that our community gets built up for the better.
Our vision is to rejuvenate and inspire people to visit and create a connection with our business members who make us who we are today, one of the largest BIA’s in North America.
Best regards,
Sandra Farina
