Although the last year has been hard with lockdowns and restrictions, things are slowly starting to get back to normal. We hope you have a wonderful school year.
On September 14, The City of Toronto and Emery Village BIA will launch the LoveTO Heart installation at the intersection of Sheppard Avenue West and Weston Road North. This installation will be a giant heart that we encourage the community to take photos with to spread love for businesses in the Emery Village community. You will be able to tag, @emeryvillagebia on Instagram and mention a business you love, for a chance to win prizes. Please stay tuned for more information on our website and social media.
Our COVID-19 Back to School Safely Certificate Training School/Workplace Safety program is now open to University students and International Students. It is the perfect time to take the course, which takes less than an hour to complete, before school starts, and it makes for a useful addition to your resume if you are seeking work.
Lastly, Toronto Public Health has updated their COVID-19 guidance for restaurants, bars, and other food service premises. You can view their updated guidelines here:
