Executive Director’s message
Wishing a safe and happy holiday
From everyone at Emery Village BIA, we hope you and your families have a safe and happy start to the holiday season. Although things have been different in the community this year because of continued COVID-19 restrictions, we hope to continue to bring events to the community which will help businesses and bring everyone together.
This holiday season, Emery Village BIA will once again carry on our tradition of collecting donations for families in need in our community.
In the coming days we will visit businesses during business hours and ask for donations - either toys or food items - that you might consider offering for those in need. In previous years employers have set up donation boxes in their place of business with items donated from their staff and customers.
Please contact us (info@emeryvillagebia.ca or 416-742-7242) to let us know that you will join us in this drive to feed and help children and families in need. We will pick up donations on December 9th, so we ask that you please have your donations ready by then.
Emery Village BIA is continuing to organize on-site mobile vaccination clinics for interested businesses in the area with the help of the City of Toronto. The On-Site Mobile Clinic can come directly to your business and vaccinate any staff (first or second dose). Businesses need to have a small space with two chairs for the vaccination, and a separate chair to monitor the vaccinated person for 15 minutes after each dose. To sign up for this free opportunity, view the flyer in the newspaper or visit our website: www.emeryvillagebia.ca/TOvaccineclinics
We wish everyone an upcoming holiday season filled with warmth, closeness, and loved ones. We look forward to connecting with you again in the new year with more events and resources, and you can always follow us on social media for continued updates.
Sincerely,
Sandra Farina
