With warmer weather on the horizon, the month of May brings flowers and more interaction with the great outdoors.
Sunday, May 8 we celebrate mothers around the world.
Do you need some ideas on what to get that special lady?
You can never go wrong with a bouquet of flowers or a handmade card with words from the heart. You can treat mom to a lunch out or a lunch in prepared with love. Any way you decide, you will be sure to know mom will feel honoured and cherished.
Sunday, May 8 is also World Ovarian Cancer Day (WOCD) and is observed by hospitals, cancer support organizations and communities worldwide.
Public educational events are held to spread awareness about the risks, symptoms and screening of ovarian cancer.
Knowing what to look for is the first step towards prevention.
Saturday, May 28 to Sunday, May 29 you can go and Explore Toronto’s Buildings!
Since 2000, Doors Open Toronto has attracted more than 2 million visits in nearly 700 unique locations across the city. You can find out what buildings will be open to the public by visiting:

For those who have birthdays in May, emerald is emblematic of love and success and very fitting for the nicer spring weather.
Enjoy and keep safe!
