Parent & Child Drop-In - Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to Noon
Join Woodview Park for two hours of play through songs, books, finger play, rhymes and lots of free play time. Facilitated by Northwood Neighbourhood Services. A healthy snack is provided. For children (zero to five years of age) and they must be supervised.
First Robotics Canada - Tuesdays, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Teams of students ages nine to 14 engage in research, problem-solving, coding and engineering by building and programming a robot that navigates the missions of a robot game. Teams also participate in a research project to identify and solve a real-world problem. Limited spaces available; pre-registration required.
Seniors Drop-In - Wednesdays, Noon to 2 p.m.
This program provides seniors with an opportunity to socialize with one another in a safe and secure environment. The program is facilitated by Northwood Neighbourhood Services. Some of the recreational activities seniors may participate in include playing games, dancing, and attending health and wellness workshops. Refreshments will be provided.
Creative Crafters - Saturday, May 27, 2 to 3 p.m.
Join Woodview Park library in a series of activities for Adults and Seniors focusing on DYI crafts. Crafting supplies are provided.
Game On! Teens - Thursdays, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Calling all gamers. Play different video games for Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 4. The Video Gaming Club meets every Thursday (Teens, ages 13-plus). No registration required, just drop in.
