MP Sgro offering free tax preparation clinics
MP Judy Sgro’s office is once again offering a helping hand to the community with the return of their annual Income Tax Clinics, a service aimed at assisting those with lower incomes in preparing their taxes free of charge.
The clinics are designed for individuals earning below $30,000, couples with combined incomes under $40,000, and adults with dependents earning $35,000 plus an additional $2,500 for each dependent. To participate, attendees are required to bring their 2023 tax receipts, their income tax return for 2022, and their notice of assessment.
The free tax preparation clinics will be held on three consecutive Saturdays: March 9th, March 16th, and March 23rd, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those interested in taking advantage of this service should contact MP Sgro’s office at 416-744-1882 to schedule an appointment.
