Keep active Emery

Free Community Events to be held at the Woodview Park Library location at 16 Bradstock Road, Toronto.

Thu Feb 09, 2023- 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

In celebration of Black History Month, join Woodview Park for a lively interactive drumming program highlighting two of the most influential countries in world music, Cuba and Brazil, both culturally rich in rhythms and songs. Experience the exciting music of traditional cultural events like Carnival and community festivals led by professional drummer and percussionist Joaquin Hidalgo of Rumberos Drums. No registration is required for this program. Please arrive 15 minutes early as a courtesy for the performers.

This program provides seniors with an opportunity to socialize with one another in a safe environment. Light refreshments will be provided. The program is sponsored by Northwood Neighbourhood Services.
