2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Join Woodview Park library in a series of activities for Adults and Seniors focusing on DYI crafts in a safe and comfortable setting. All crafting supplies are provided. Our September 23rd activity will be learning the art of paper quilling.
Parent & Child Drop-InTuesdays 10 a.m. to Noon
Join Woodview Park for two hours of play through songs, books, finger play, rhymes and lots of free play time. This program is facilitated by Northwood Neighbourhood Services. A healthy snack is provided for the children. The program is for children (0-5 years of age) and they must be supervised.
After School ClubTuesdays, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. starting September 5th
Learn and create new things, make friends, and have fun, with STEM-centred crafts and activities! Registration required. For ages 6 to 12 years.
LEAP After School ProgramWednesdays and Thursdays, 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Come to Woodview Park for two hours of physical activity, trivia and games while building independency skills. The program is facilitated by North York Community House LEAP staff and is intended for children aged 9 to 13 years. Snacks will be provided. Registration is required with LEAP online on their website. Space is limited. Program starts on September 13th.
Family TimeFridays, 11:00am – 12:30pm, starting September 15
Play, explore, learn and read together at the library. Open to parents, caregivers, and their children aged 18 months to 5 years old. Light snacks will be provided. Coding for KidsKids aged 7 to 12 years are welcome to come have some fun and learn coding after school. This 12-week program will begin at the end of September. Exact dates and times to be determined. Spaces will be limited and registration is required.
Registration will begin on September 12.
Seniors Drop-In Wednesdays 12:00pm to 2:00pm
This program provides seniors with an opportunity to socialize with one another in a safe and secure environment. The program is facilitated by Northwood Neighbourhood Services. Some of the recreational activities seniors may participate in include playing games, arts and crafts, and attending health and wellness workshops. Refreshments will be provided.
Game On! Teens Thursdays 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Calling all gamers! Play different video games for Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 4. The Video Gaming Club meets every Thursday (Teens, ages 13+). No registration required, just drop in!
