In October, 2013 Emery Village unveiled its third mural, “Emery Village: History in the Making.” It depicts the history of the land. The artist used both Renaissance and Baroque styles of painting, which use exaggerated motion and clear, easily interpreted detail to produce drama, tension, exuberance, grandeur, and decadence that emphasizes movement, colour and sensuality.
There are seven narratives played within the image: Belonging, Respect, Forgiveness, Generosity, Curiosity, Communication, and Traditions. The mural is located at 230 Signet Drive.
