Councillor’s Corner
Dear Resident,
I am excited to announce that the list of Summer recreation programs is now online! This is the
season to play outside, get your body moving and make connections with your local community.
The City’s summer programming begins on Tuesday, July 2, and runs until Friday, August 30.
Residents can learn more about registration dates in their area and find program and
registration information on the City’s?Summer Recreation Program webpage.
For more information, you can read more about it here: https://www.toronto.ca/explore-
enjoy/recreation/summer-recreation-programs/
In other news, I am also excited to share that the TTC is increasing service on several key
routes and buses that directly impact our Ward, including:
-36 Finch West
-60 Steeles West
-935 Jane Express
-939 Finch Express
These changes mean more frequent buses and reduced wait times, making it easier for you to
get to your destination quickly and comfortably.
Additionally, the Toronto Public Library is offering free admission to the CN Tower using a valid
adult library card, similar to how someone might borrow a book from the library’s collection.
Passes are available to reserve on the tpl:map site, subject to availability.
