I invite you to stop by, say hello and have a coffee. It is my hope that our new location will make us more accessible to you so that we can better serve your needs.
We are happy to call Islington Avenue our new home, the area is being revitalized and in the coming years it will be more beautiful than ever. As promised, the Emery Village BIA will bring you new vibrancy with their street beautification program, including street furniture (such as benches), flower boxes, trees and more. These measures will help create a pedestrian-friendly environment at the Italian Gardens and Humber Summit plazas. This is yet another one of the wonderful projects brought to Ward 7 by the Emery Village BIA, including the Gateways to our village at the intersections of at Weston and Sheppard, Steeles and Weston, Fenmar and Steeles, as well as the revitalization of Plunkett and Satterly, Arrow Road and the current work being done on Sheppard just east of Weston Road - all this on top of the planter boxes and flag poles throughout the village.
During the last election some people were trying to move against the completion of the project on Islington but when all the work is done you will see a clear difference in the landscape of your community between those who work with the BIA for the betterment of your neighborhood and those who don’t care.
