Dear Resident,

Many of you have received your first dose, with second doses scheduled. Various pop-up clinics are operating without an appointment required, and you can also call to move up your current appointments as new options become available.

We are working toward a future where it will be safe to meet in person again. That time is coming, and I look forward to seeing and speaking with you soon.

Now that it's summer, please remember to continue following public health guidelines and wear a mask, even when partially or fully vaccinated. It's essential to spend time outdoors but do so safely. The province is continuing to update our city on the phases and step-by-step stages of reopening.

The City of Toronto has announced that a list of public pools are officially open to help everyone cool off. You must register for a 45-minute session in advance of your visit. Please visit the City of Toronto's website to book.

Many thanks to those who attended the 3400 Weston and 2405 Finch Community Consultation Meeting. If you are a homebound person receiving care through a Primary Care Provider, Family Health Team, Home Care or Community Support Service, please contact your provider to learn if they offer in-home vaccination. If your provider cannot provide at-home immunization, they will place your name on a list for at-home vaccination. If you do not have a Primary Care Provider, Family Health Team, Home Care, or Community Support Service, please contact the Toronto Seniors Helpline.
