Councillor’s Corner
Dear resident,
Our office is hosting our annual Councillor Skate event throughout the ward. The first skating event happened on Sunday, February 11th at Downsview Arena. Thank you to family and friends who stopped by for this free event. We will have more events in early March. Don’t miss out on the fun, and bring your skates:
• Sunday, March 3rd 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.: Grandravine C.C. (23 Grandravine Dr)
• Sunday, March 10th 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Habitant Arena (3383 Weston Rd)
In other news, I am also excited to share that the Finch West LRT crews are currently adding the final touches to stops along the alignment. They have already installed 25 of the 29 Presto machines across 18 stops, along with all the passenger visual information systems. Also, earlier this month the Finch West LRV took its first trip to Humber College station.
