The Emery Village BIA’s SkillsPass COVID-19 Work Safe Course is now live at:
www.emerybia.skillspass.com
If you have not registered for this exclusive opportunity, make sure you do so soon – this is the perfect time to protect your business as schools and workplaces are reopening and the number of cases in Ontario is rising once again. The course is the first of its kind in Canada and will provide participants with a certificate of completion as well as an official decal to display on your business.
We encourage all employees, from management to skilled trade staff, to complete this course since it is simple and quick (under an hour) and contains crucial information about COVID-19 protection for everyone.
Complete the course on a mobile device or computer, and stop and come back to it at any time:

There is still time to be added to Emery Village BIA’s PPE booklet:
www.emeryvillagebia.ca/ppe-
booklet.
This is a one-stop directory of businesses in the BIA and across Toronto which offer PPE and can be used as a resource by anyone in the community. If you offer any of the listed equipment, please email us to be included for free: info@emeryvillagebia.ca
Now that October has rolled around, we are running another round of our Shop Emery First promotions in the Emery Village Voice and on social media. If you have a special offer, we will advertise it for free for a minimum of two months. See the Shop Emery First ad in the paper for an example, and fill out your own promotion here:

Finally, a reminder that we have increased security patrols during this time and implemented an emergency plan. We have increased our operating patrols to include two day patrol cars (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and four evening patrol cars (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) to ensure full coverage of our area. The two numbers for VP Protection Dispatch are 416-218-3226 or 647-202-3022.
And, from all of us at the Emery Village BIA, we send you all of our best thoughts and wishes for a healthy and memorable Thanksgiving.
Sincerely,
Executive Director
Sandra Farina
