A new day & master chef at Globe Meats

Globe Meats Fresh Market and Grill has expanded, and gone a little more global.

All in a new key hire who brings a new level to their kitchen.

The comprehensive food preparer, market and retailer has added a talented chef. And she will bring the already heralded Emery eatery new levels of quality and taste.

Her name is Brianne Nash. She’s been in the industry for 11 years and is classically trained in French, Spanish, Italian and Asian cuisine.

“I’ve worked in Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville and Spain, and I’ve competed in competitions,” Nash told the Emery Village Voice. “I’m just impassioned about food.”

Coming along with Nash will be a new level of chef inspired food for good prices and if needed, served at lightning speed.

Whether a burger, salad, pasta or something a little more fine, the Globe Meats customer is going to be able to get what they want, and quickly.

Maintaining their adherence to providing their customers the best, Globe continues to serve locally sourced meats, prepared and butchered in the store.

They have home cooked breads, prepared and baked in the store, and some of the best family recipes – like their famous Porchetta.

“We have a lot of people who want restaurant quality food, but we also have a lot of people who have 15, 20 and 30 minutes for lunch,” Nash said. “Our goal is the right price and to give people the variety and quality they want.”

Dante DiBiase, president of Globe Meats, watched his father begin the business in 1974 and still believes in providing his customers the quality his family began it with.

“Everything is from scratch,” he said.

And variety is a must in the eclectic Emery Village.

“We have a lot of ethnicities here,” Nash said. “And we want to be inspired by all of them. We want to have something for everyone, and every taste.”

They are open Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesdays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
