The 12th annual Movie-in-the-Park is on Friday, June 28th. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick off the summer with fun, food, and a great movie.
The event will be held at Joseph Bannon Park, or 65 Mary Chapman Blvd. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, and settle in for an exciting evening. The festivities begin at 5 p.m. including activities for kids, face painting and bouncy castles as well as a splash pad and jungle gym.
Food vendors will be available including Noodlebox, Starbucks, Pizzaiolo, Meltwich Food Co., and Vesta Lunch on Wheels (serving classic diner food). PetValu will also be on-site selling dog treats for the furry friends. Additionally, there will be hot dogs, popcorn, Freezies, coffee, tea, juice, and assorted drinks available for purchase.
The movie will be Disney Pixar’s “Elemental.” The film will start at dusk, approximately 9 p.m., and entry is free.
The Movie-in-the-Park is brought to you by the Emery Village BIA and its member businesses. If it happens to rain on Friday, June 28th, the event will be rescheduled for the following day, Saturday, June 29th, at the same time. Additional parking will be available at Emery Village Plaza.
Don’t miss out on this wonderful community event. Bring a friend or two and enjoy a night under the stars with great food, exciting activities, and a fantastic movie.
We look forward to seeing you there.
